AN: I wrote this between after HBP and before DH killed all my fun. La Strega beta’d it back then and put up with a lot of my whingeing for little in return. I’ve gone back to it since and while it isn’t my best work, it isn’t as bad as it had seemed at the time.
Having just seen DH part 1 at the cinema, I’m inspired to get this out before he dies *again*.
